Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. manages three classified growths in the Pauillac appellation, including the illustrious Château Mouton Rothschild. It also produces and sells a range of high-quality branded wines which it sources from various partner winegrowers then blends, matures and bottles itself, foremost among them the famous Mouton Cadet. US Sales Director W/M/D
Reporting to the EMEA & Americas Sales Director, you are responsible for the strategic and operational management of BPHR’s brands in the United States, a key market for the Group.
You contribute to the sustainable growth and financial performance of the U.S. area, according to the strategy defined with the Head Office (pricing, A&P, supply chain, partner governance).
The position is located in the United States, with a strong field presence and a flexible location depending on the profile (East Coast preferred).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Defining and executing the development strategy for French and Chilean brands in the U.S., in close coordination with the Head Office.
Managing partner importers, monitoring their commercial performance, and driving their sales teams through influence, training, and prioritization.
Securing and developing existing partnerships while identifying new distribution opportunities when relevant.
Optimizing routes to market and distribution models in line with brands positioning.
Deploying marketing and commercial activations in coordination with central teams.
Managing the local sales team.
Ensuring active market intelligence and building a strong network of key players.
Maintaining structured and regular reporting to Head Office and top management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
You have at least 8 years of successful professional experience in international wine, spirits or Champagne sales, including 3 years in the United States.
You possess an excellent understanding of the U.S. market and culture, enabling you to quickly identify key players and true decision-makers.
You have an in-depth knowledge of international premium wines, combined with a strong expertise in brand management and brand building.
With a strategic, global vision for market development, you can propose actionable strategies and translate them into concrete, results-oriented plans.
Dynamic and entrepreneurial, you have a true business developer mindset, capable of identifying and seizing growth opportunities.
Your natural leadership allows you to unite, influence, and sustainably drive partners toward ambitious performance objectives.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build and maintain a robust professional network.
Fluency in both French and English is required.
